• Apex Legends Game Overview

Apex Legends, within one week, exploded. The game found it self to encompass over 25 million players. Whether you want to be a pro-Apex Legends player, or you just want some beginner tips keep reading to get a complete overview of the game.

    Deciding What Character:

Choose someone who matches your playstyle. All characters are equals, and are evenly matched in terms of strength, speed and firepower. It's their abilities that set them apart...

    • Bangalore: Good for blocking line of sight, and for running away real fast.
    • Bloodhound: Good if you want to know what's always going on.
    • Caustic: Choose if you don’t mind the enemy team hating you.
    • Gibraltar: Choose if you want to be the beefy character and not die too quickly.
    • Lifeline: Choose if you want to be the most popular person on the team.
    • Mirage: Good if you just don’t want to be shot.
    • Pathfinder: Choose if you want to be the friendliest robot and also like parkour.
    • Wraith: Good if you want to rush and do some serious running.

    Dropping In...

Firstly, if you're the dropmaster, give this up immediately if you don't know where to drop. You don't have to follow the dropmaster, but only bail if you're sure they don't know where they're going.

Land on the loot ship or blue circle if you want to learn how to get better really quick. Landing in a high tier loot area is great if you want a valuable, strong weapon, but not when you end up dead before you could do anything. If you see others dropping in the same location, change it up.

    The Actual Match

You're on the ground, time to win. Make use of features like the ping system, balloons and slide option, not only because they could help you but because they make the game so much more fun. Make sure to loot fast, run fast and shut all doors after you...

Work together, you can keep each other safe and outplay your opponents by combining your abilities. Give your Ultimate Accelerant to Lifeline,  ping weapons and upgrades to your team. Stay together, revive teammates when needed but always be wary of your enemies at all times.

    Squad Goals

Stick close to your squad, and you’ll have a greater chance at success. Give your teammates critical information with the ping system, like useful items and locations.

You start each match with no weapons or armour, so you and your squad will have to decide if the high-tier loot areas are worth the risk each time you play.

    Know Where You Are

Kings Canyon is where all Apex Matches take place, a playground full of abandoned military installations and encroaching nature. Learn how to best manoeuvre depending on the terrain, plus where the hotspots of activity are, and where to find the best loot!

Knowing your surroundings will help you make decisions faster and manoeuvre more effectively, especially when the ring starts to shrink...

  • Far Cry: New Dawn Just Released

Far Cry New Dawn is a fully-fledged stand-alone sequel to Far Cry 5, as it takes place 17 years after the events of Far Cry 5. However, there is still a lot to look forward to in this newest entry in the Far Cry franchise! The game is vibrant with eye-popping colours and ruthless new villains...

Within the game, you assume the role of captain of security for Thomas Rush who is responsible for rebuilding settlements across the west coast of America.

The story begins at Hope County to help fight off the forces of the highwaymen, who are a group of bandits causing chaos. You arrive by train, but have to make a quick getaway and reconnect with Carmina Rye from Far Cry 5. She takes you to Prosperity, which is ultimately where you assemble your people, rebuild its community and infrastructure to become strong enough to face off with the highwaymen.

    Game Features

Far Cry New Dawn features elements of light RPG, basically meaning you need to make sure your enemy never has better weapons than you. But, everything is makeshift so you can enhance your weapons throughout the game.

Far Cry New Dawn incorporates replayable outposts into the core gameplay. The idea is to take outposts from the Highwaymen and then use it as a fast travel point, a workbench, and as a garage. If the outpost is taken back by the Highwaymen, it will be much harder to take it back but the reward will be far greater.

For the first time in the series history, it is the whole world that is affected and not just a remote island or location. This means that all across America there are different chapters of Highwaymen. And, they all have different resources that will give you and Prosperity the edge in Hope County.

The game’s post-apocalyptic world is simply breathtaking! The highwaymen will do anything it takes to come out on top, which is truly exciting. Levelling up my weapons was fun, with the results being even better.

The game launched on 15th February 2019.

  • Games To Look Out For In 2019

With 2019 fully under way, we're looking ahead to this year's most exciting gaming launches.

Far Cry: New Dawn - February 2019

Using the remnants of the old world, see if you can survive in this post-apocalyptic world and defeat the new threat from the Highwaymen, led by the twins.

With the ability to form alliances with rival gangs and build weaponry amongst the nuclear wreckage, Far Cry: New Dawn is definitely a game we're looking forward to in 2019.

Total War: Three Kingdoms - March 2019

Taking us to the fall of China's Han dynasty Total War: Three Kingdoms is set to take us on a historical and bloody journey this March and we cannot wait!

    Mortal Kombat 11 - April 2019

Offering unprecedented control of your fighters, new graphics that bring you even closer to the gruesome action and featuring new and returning Klassic Fighters, Mortal Kombat's iconic cinematic story mode is continued in the 11th release of the series.

    Rage 2 - May 2019

With vehicle combat and first person combat game play based in an unforgiving wasteland where you must forage for weaponry and tools, the aim of Rage 2 is to battle for justice and freedom against the oppressive rule of The Authority.

Featuring the talents of Mad Max developer Avalanche Studios, Rage 2 is guaranteed to be an exciting, if not slightly mad, new release.

    Lost Ember - June 2019

Lost Ember takes you on a journey through the wild, granting you the ability to possess every animal in the natural world as you learn more about Inrahsi culture from your companion.

With exceptionally vivid graphics, Lost Ember definitely makes you feel part of the wild world.

    MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries - September 2019

We're very excited about the first MechWarrior campaign in 15 years!

Giving players the option to choose their faction,  travel anywhere in the galaxy and collaborate with others, MechWarrior 5 will cast you into a world of inner space warfare where you bid to become the most skilled mercenary.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - November 2019

The announcement sent gamers into a frenzy at E3 but we still know very little about the new Star Wars Jedi release.

All we know so far is it's a single-player game from the perspective of a padawan that survives the Order 66 massacre, but, based on Respawn's history, we're guessing we can expect some brutal lightsaber duels and a memorable, exciting plot line.

    Wolfenstein: Youngblood

Set in 1980s' Paris, B.J. Blazkowicz's daughters take the lead in this co-op spin off.

No release date is confirmed as of yet, but, Wolfenstein: Youngblood is set to be released in 2019.

    Halo Infinite

We're still unsure if the new Halo instalment will actually be released in 2019, but, we're so excited we thought we'd feature it anyway.

With the trailer boasting a wide open game play area and the faster pace that recent Halo games have favoured, Halo could be one of the most exciting games of the year (if it decides to make an appearance that is).

With all these exciting PC gaming releases to look forward to in 2019, you'll need an advanced gaming PC to provide you with the best possible gaming experience. Shop our gaming PC'S online here, plus, keep an eye out for new gaming bundles featuring the above games!
