Deciding What Character:
Choose someone who matches your playstyle. All characters are equals, and are evenly matched in terms of strength, speed and firepower. It’s their abilities that set them apart…
- Bangalore: Good for blocking line of sight, and for running away real fast.
- Bloodhound: Good if you want to know what’s always going on.
- Caustic: Choose if you don’t mind the enemy team hating you.
- Gibraltar: Choose if you want to be the beefy character and not die too quickly.
- Lifeline: Choose if you want to be the most popular person on the team.
- Mirage: Good if you just don’t want to be shot.
- Pathfinder: Choose if you want to be the friendliest robot and also like parkour.
- Wraith: Good if you want to rush and do some serious running.
Dropping In…
Firstly, if you’re the dropmaster, give this up immediately if you don’t know where to drop. You don’t have to follow the dropmaster, but only bail if you’re sure they don’t know where they’re going.
Land on the loot ship or blue circle if you want to learn how to get better really quick. Landing in a high tier loot area is great if you want a valuable, strong weapon, but not when you end up dead before you could do anything. If you see others dropping in the same location, change it up.
The Actual Match

Work together, you can keep each other safe and outplay your opponents by combining your abilities. Give your Ultimate Accelerant to Lifeline, ping weapons and upgrades to your team. Stay together, revive teammates when needed but always be wary of your enemies at all times.
Squad Goals
Stick close to your squad, and you’ll have a greater chance at success. Give your teammates critical information with the ping system, like useful items and locations.
You start each match with no weapons or armour, so you and your squad will have to decide if the high-tier loot areas are worth the risk each time you play.
Know Where You Are
